Years and years ago, Bean and I were extras in the crowd for Prefontaine, a movie starring Jared Leto as Steve Prefontaine, a long-distance runner from Oregon who pursued gold in the Munich Olympics during the ’70s before his untimely death. Bean happened to find us in the crowd at long last.
