Feast your eyes- a marvelous book sculpture of the spine by Bronia Sawyer. In the words of author Barbara Kingsolver, “Stop a minute, right where you are. Relax your shoulders, shake your head and spine like a dog shaking off cold water. Tell that imperious voice in your head to be still.”
You know, imperious- arrogant, haughty, unrightfully authoritative. Oppressive. Thinks it’s in charge. It’s wrong. You have a backbone and strength to stand for what you believe in, to fight for what you hope for in life. Just remember, balance, i.e., the funny bone.
