I RECEIVED MY

I received my favorite gift already and it's not yet Christmas.

Checked the mail early in the week only to find a Christmas card from my aunt and uncle, my dad's brother. My breath caught as I saw the writing on the envelope. It was so very much like Dad's- the slant, the all caps, the "5" and "A," and that particular "N." For a moment it was just a little bit like he was still here, which made me smile and cry simultaneously. I'd share a photo, but you know, addresses and all.

Instead, here's this year's tree in the front window so that I can view it at aaallll times, it bringing holiday cheer while working from my desk. And I just realized that my tree has it's own wee tree!
