SOLIPSIST

Though not a philosophy I subscribe to, solipsism- the idea that we’re all imagining our own world, and that anything outside of our mind can’t be proven, provides a backdrop to a visually lush film experience. (Were solipsism true, I can tell you the world I’d imagine for myself would include more hugs and far less dust and red traffic lights.)
The plethora of textural materials on display and bits of craftery, the warbly underwater movement and flashes of light, a build of sound and color, all ephemeral as three acts transform culminating in a word: satisfying. Where’s my yarn?
