This version of Anna Karenina looked so remarkably beautiful in the trailer. Shots composed as if moving paintings. I’ve never desired to read the story itself despite its masterpiece status. Came across this quote though, and know of the very thing. Aware of one’s presence, but not daring to look.
“He walked down, for a long while avoiding looking at her as at the sun, but seeing her, as one does the sun, without looking.”
